YOUR INSTRUMENT, FIRST
The first time you open TunerWear it asks one question: which instrument do you tune? Pick it and the tuner opens straight on your strings, with its notes on screen. Change it anytime in Settings. The chromatic tuner stays one tap away, for any note on anything else.

15 instruments, 35 named tunings:
- Guitar: Standard, Drop D, Drop C, DADGAD, Open G, Open D, half and full step down
- 12-string guitar, with every octave pair read the way it is really tuned
- Bass (4 and 5 strings), ukulele (standard, Low G, baritone) and guitalele
- Banjo: 5-string (Open G, Double C, Sawmill, Open D, Cumberland Gap), tenor (Irish, Jazz, Chicago, Plectrum) and samba banjo
- Violin, viola, cello, mandolin, cavaquinho and bağlama (saz)
Every tuning comes with context: what it is, how it sounds and a tip to get there.

TUNE
A chromatic guitar tuner made for the moment before the music: play a string, watch the arrow, turn the peg. It shows whether to tune up or down and how far you are, with accuracy finer than the human ear.
- Paired strings done right: on the 12-string and the bağlama, the tuner accepts both octaves of a pair and reads the closer one
- A4 calibration from 430 to 450 Hz, for an orchestra or an old recording
- Tuner profile: needle speed and precision window set to your hand

LEARN
The part no guitar tuner has: the answer to "why these chords, together, in this order?"
- Chord dictionary for guitar and ukulele: 240 chords, 1205 shapes, each with its name, all over the neck
- Every shape plays, as a string synthesized in real time, so you can match your instrument by ear
- Harmonic field: pick any of 24 keys and see its seven chords and what each one does: rest, move away, pull back home
- 17 progressions in degrees, essentials, pop and jazz, that transpose to any key with one tap

PRACTICE
A clean metronome: 40 to 240 BPM, four time signatures, rhythms down to sixteenths, tap tempo. Optional practice reminders at the time you choose.

FREE AT THE CORE
The standard tuning of all 15 instruments, the chromatic tuner, the chord dictionary with sound, the harmonic fields and the metronome are free. None of it asks for a card.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Tuning happens on your device. The microphone is only on while the tuner is open; audio is never recorded and never leaves your phone.
